Overview

As an active member of TSA UGM (Tanoto Scholars Association Universitas Gadjah Mada), I had the opportunity to contribute to the organization in two meaningful capacities: as part of the IT & Livestreaming team and the Creative Media division.

One of the highlights of my involvement was serving as the technical lead for a special webinar featuring Dr. Tirta, a well-known public figure and health advocate. My responsibilities included managing the livestream infrastructure, coordinating the broadcast setup, monitoring audio-visual quality, and troubleshooting real-time issues to ensure a seamless online experience for hundreds of participants. It was a high-impact event that required both technical precision and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

In parallel, I was also part of the TSA Creative Media team, where I contributed to the design and development of Instagram posts, promotional graphics, and informational content. My focus was to maintain visual consistency, clarity, and engagement across TSA’s digital platforms, helping to amplify the organization’s activities and values to a broader audience.

Handling the IT and livestream aspects of a large-scale webinar taught me the importance of preparation, responsiveness, and cross-functional coordination. I learned how to anticipate potential technical issues and respond quickly to ensure a smooth experience for both speakers and audiences.

At the same time, being part of the Creative Media team sharpened my visual communication skills. I discovered how critical digital storytelling and consistent branding are in building an organization's presence and engagement online. From drafting captions to choosing the right typography and layouts, every detail mattered in making content resonate with the audience.

Overall, my involvement in TSA UGM allowed me to grow as both a technologist and a communicator, working behind the scenes to bring value to a wider community. I'm especially grateful for the chance to help inspire others through media and meaningful dialogue, while honing skills that will benefit me in future professional and leadership roles.
