Overview
I conceptualized and prototyped a Sales Recommendation App in Figma designed to empower field sales representatives in the pharmaceutical sector. The app intelligently recommends:
Drugs tailored to customer profiles and historical preferences
Optimal sales routes, considering geography and appointment schedules
Store stock status, ensuring that reps only recommend products available at nearby outlets
Built with Figma, an industry-standard tool for collaborative UI/UX design, I created interactive user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity screens. These demonstrate clear personas, intuitive navigation, and on-demand data insights, ready for stakeholder feedback and rapid iteration.
Findings
User-Centered Sales Persona Design
Implementing personas and journey mapping (a la affinity mapping techniques) helped ensure features directly align with real sales workflows, reducing cognitive load and boosting usage intent.
Interactive Prototyping Enhances Clarity
Figma’s prototyping capabilities enabled clickable mockups that vividly simulate route optimization and stock checks—enhancing stakeholder understanding significantly .Component-Based UI for Scalability
Leveraging reusable components and styles in Figma made it easy to maintain consistency across screens and prepare scalable UI systems.Real-Time Collaboration & Feedback
Stakeholders could comment directly in Figma, speeding up iterations and aligning the design with evolving requirements, an advantage of Figma’s collaborative features.Responsive & Task-Driven Design
Designing layouts for both mobile and tablet ensures reps can access data on-the-go. Prioritizing quick actions (e.g., “navigate now”, “check stock”) supports efficient, outcome-oriented sales interactions.
This Figma prototype of the Sales Recommendation App demonstrates how thoughtful UX design and smart feature planning can empower pharmaceutical sales teams. Through interactive prototyping, reusable design systems, and persona-driven workflows, the project is well-positioned for development handoff and pilot deployment.
