Overview
Jetrade5000 is a conceptual innovation of an Autonomous Guided Vehicle (AGV) designed to revolutionize warehouse and logistics operations in Indonesia. Developed as part of an innovation competition, Jetrade5000 aims to enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability in industrial material handling.
The AGV integrates LiDAR-based obstacle avoidance, self-predictive maintenance, and blockchain-secured communication to enable precise navigation, autonomous task coordination, and tamper-proof data exchange. Built with a focus on local adaptability, it supports modular configuration, making it scalable for small to large warehouse environments.
Findings
Through research and simulation, Jetrade5000 demonstrated its potential to significantly reduce operational inefficiencies and environmental impact in warehouse logistics. The system showed an estimated 23.94% reduction in operational costs over five years, primarily due to reduced downtime, automated fleet coordination, and optimized energy use.
The LiDAR sensing system provided reliable path planning and real-time obstacle detection even in dynamic environments, while blockchain communication ensured transparent and secure task verification between AGVs.
Additionally, the predictive maintenance module, powered by embedded AI, analyzed vibration and temperature data to detect early signs of motor or battery wear, extending component lifespan and minimizing unplanned maintenance costs.
Jetrade5000 represents a step forward in realizing Industry 4.0 and smart warehouse ecosystems within Indonesia. By combining advanced navigation, secure communication, and sustainable operation, it provides a foundation for modern logistics systems aligned with the nation’s Net-Zero Emission 2060 vision.
The project highlights the importance of integrating local innovation with emerging technologies, paving the way for more intelligent, energy-efficient, and secure industrial automation solutions in the future.
